We remember when we were kids, we used to dread hearing our mother say, “Let’s go Antiquing!”
To us, it meant a long Sunday afternoon of self-entertaining. While waiting for her to slowly sift
through the stuff at the local flea market or antique shop, we would resort to coloring in the car,
impromptu hair styling sessions or flat out public whining and flailing.
Now the words create a different stir and the adrenaline flows with anticipation of what we
might find this time. So, we hitch up the trailer, grab the bungee cords , moving blankets,
and handy wipes and set off on our next big hunt.
We are just two hardworking sisters with a love of all things old. Those things that have become
outdated but have good bones. Or those “Velveteen Rabbit” things that have become “real” treasures
because of all the love they’ve had. You can keep the new toys but we’ll fight you for the shabby bunny!
We built this site in hopes of sharing with you some of our favorite finds from here, there, and everywhere.
Who knew that one conversation parked under an old carport, staring at a rundown garage would turn into
a family business and a wish granted.
